i have a chance to get a 1991 chev silderado for 1000 canadian. it is a 4x4 and ext cab. body is in pretty good shape and engine is clean good deal or not?
 
Sounds pretty good to me. Someone's going to pay you $1000 to come get their junk, seems fair to both sides. :lol:

;-) Thats sounds like it would be a good deal even in US Dollars.
 
This might surprise some but I am not a big fan of Chevy. With that said, just about any 4x4 in that price range that runs is a pretty good deal in my book.

That 1991 is good for 300,000 mi. don't let the ford guys
fool you. You just have to mantain them. And change the trans
oil.

I'm not much on Chevys but sounds like a deal to me. Lot better than $40,000 for a new one and then be selling it in a few years for about what you can get that one for.
