Here are some pics of a weed , Brazilian Verdane also known here as Vermillion.
I sprayed it with Starane at 200ml to 200litres the recommended rate.
It died off nicely on the top,I had been watching it
Then I noticed it was regrowing ! Still alive in the root .
Looks good to the farmer , all dead , but next year its alive and kicking again.
Sort of chemical sellers heaven aint it?

I'm fed up with it . Anybody intersted in joining a class action and sueing?

JOHNSON SAYS EPA POLICY AND COURT DECISION DENY FARMERS’ RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES IN PESTICIDE CASES

BISMARCK – Agriculture Commissioner Roger Johnson says a little-known policy of the Environmental Protection Agency and a federal court ruling may deprive American farmers of their right to seek damages if pesticides damage their crops or fail to perform as advertised.

“If the U.S. Supreme Court allows the lower court decision on Bates v Dow AgroSciences to stand or if Congress fails to amend Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), American farmers may lose the right to sue the manufacturers for losses from ineffective or damaging pesticides,” Johnson said. “This case sets a terrible precedent and establishes a policy that could have long-term and damaging effects for years to come.”

Johnson has written a letter to Michael Leavitt, EPA administrator, asking him to order a review of EPA’s policy and to support a change in FIFRA to protect farmers’ rights.

Bates v Dow AgroSciences involves 29 Texas peanut farmers who claimed that the Dow AgroSciences herbicide Strongarm® not only failed to control weeds but caused significant crop injury, even though it had been properly applied. Dow won a summary judgment in a federal district court after claiming that FIFRA preempts tort claims under state consumer protection laws. The decision was subsequently upheld by a federal appeals court and has now been appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Since Monsanto has one of their attorneys sitting in a chair on the supreme court, I wonder what the outcome will be.

Geez that dont auger well for you guys.

You just gotta sit back and take it then?
Over here we have a Sale of Goods Act and it clearly breaches that as the goods have to be "fit for the purpose for which they are sold" . Maybe I should send you a copy and see if you can get your laws ammended.

Anybody over here willing to join in?

I must have gotten a jug of Glyphosate that was only 50% good. I sprayed half of field in the morning and had a complete kill, sprayed the other with the mix proportions in the afternoon and barely got any kill at all.

Dun, you should be thankful that Monsanto bought the generic roundup plant in China and shut it down cause had they not done so you would may have paid a lot less for the roundup but it probably wouldn't have worked at all. :???:

They only want to "help" us.........

And, you're going to get in trouble for bringing that weed into the house and making the photo on top of the household appliance. :D

Yeah but are the "fit for the purpose for which you used them?"
