Cheap Cows

You know the saying a cheap date when your girl orders something cheap on the menu well my cows are cheap. I had a messed up oat and rye grass bale and just to get it out the way I set it out then put out a nice good quality coastal bale. It wasn’t just my main cows the young ones I have for sale choose the slug oat and rye over the coastal bale.

Our cows will eat green oat hay over any other hay you offer.

Same here if you kept out Bahia and coastal the coastal would rot before they ate it.

I didn’t have them tested but the field I bought them out was a good field.

I know next time just buy cheap oats and rye bales.

Mine will. I usually have enough Oat hay don’t have to buy hay. This year had to buy hay so figured I’d give them a treat lol. I planted sudan one year they liked the oat bales over the sudan too.
