We have been using 7 day timed with Cidar. First year we were in 70's % success rate. Each year we seem to slide a little more.
I noticed the last few times the girls were in heat but no "good" heat. Not really swollen, slimy, mooing. But I had seen our little 6 month old bull trying to mount them the morning of.
So I think we were just missing or a little too early.
Anyway we are switching to the 7 & 7 snych.
Anybody using this ?

I used it in 2021. Had good heat response but it was 95*+ here first week of June and had about 60% conception. Probably the abnormal hot temps were most of it, but it was also a pain to run them through the chute another time because their pasture was a ways from working facilities. Went back to 7-day sync with CIDR and only breed on observed heats. A.I. seems to work better if they have had a heat cycle before syncing them.
