I need to put a new tube in a 3-Rib 11.00-16 tractor tire. I only have a manual tire changer and have done quite a few implement tires but I am wondering if the 3 rib tires have a stiffer sidewall and if I should just bring it to a shop.

Fairly easy to change with a couple tire bars. Doubtful the sidewalls are any tougher than your implement tires.

Those 3 rib front tires are probably the easiest tire to change. Couple cheap spoons are all it takes.
Have done many. I break the bead by slowly inching my front truck wheel up a short 2X6 laid on the tire sidewall that will just clear the rim lip when the weight of the truck breaks the bead.
(oh, ya, keep yer foot on the brake!)
Then I coax the tire off with various crow bars, big screw drivers and profanity.

$15 and 10 minutes (if they aren't busy) gets one fixed here. Or drop it off and pick it up later.

50 miles one way to the nearest tire shop here. Gets costly to have a tire changed when it's a 2.5 hour trip. Ha

Broke the beads no problem, had trouble getting it off though and gave up after a couple minutes. Dropped off at shop, filled truck up with gas, stopped at Hardee's, and they were setting it out when I pulled back into shop parking lot. $36 for tube and labor.
I can do it faster with bars then tire machine .
No need to even unbolt it off the tractor.
Tire hammer to break the outside bead Handy man jack to break the inside bead .
Probably have it completed before most would have the tire unbolted from the machine .
