The last few days I have noticed my bull and a couple of other cows sneezing a bit. They seem to do it in the heat of the day when the flies get real bad on they're noses. I'm assuming since there are not other signs of running eyes or illness that it is the flies causing this. But I thought I would check with some of you guys to see if I should be watching for anything else.

They have fly blocks and a rub. but they seem to be little help this year.

Thanks
Alan

I think it is called sniffles or something close. It is more of an allergy. I have a couple cows that do that. Mine will do it late in the afternoons most of the time. It is more of a genetic thing but doesnt really cause that much of a problem. My vet told me about it but cant remember the name for sure.

Probably get some runny eyes too.
We get the same symptoms over on this side of the hills. Haven't had rain for a month and the dust causes alot of the problems. Goes away as soon as the rain settles the dust, of course that won't happen here till mid sept.
Just my two bits worth....DMc
