I noticed prices were slipping a little in my area. How are they holding up in other areas?

i was talking to a friend of mine monday.he said cow prices was backing off.as we talked more its the black hides thats slipping .the tigerstripes and brimmer cross cattle are bringing top dollar.

That can't be right, everyone knows you can't hardly even sell their calves and if you do you take a BIG hit "to much ear"

I noticed prices were slipping a little in my area. How are they holding up in other areas?

Bounced up here Tuesday as futures market was stronger for feeders.
Four weights were up about 3 to 4 dollars a 100.
Kill cows down a little dollar or two per 100 Bulls remained steady.
Back to the farm bred girls down 1500 to 2000 .
