I know there is a post running around here speaking of a complete ranch sold to the Russians. I also here about lots of folks getting out of the cattle business ( at least more here claiming that than saying they are getting in the cattle business ') ) . I see some Russians visiting one of your neighbors and a comment on that thread of " people stock piling herefords for the next boat to Russia. Trust me I know a little about foreign trade. You can build a lot more cars than you can make cattle.......but I have to wonder what the state of the economy is when these sort of events are happening. I don't know what all these things mean. I know we are blessed to be able to not only buy a burger but have a choice. I can see where that ain't the case in every country and because of the children for that I am sorry. I don't think Americans are going to quite " producing" beef but it makes me wonder what things will look like when we sell our cattle and give away our know how........
