What are some of the cattle magazines that you guys subscribe too? I get cattle today and my state cattlemans paper. Just want to know what else I could look for.

I subscribe to the Hereford World, Ohio Cattlemens, Trends, Hereford America, and Virginia Cattlemens.

If you want some good entertainment, Stockman Grassfarmer is hard to beat. They make the most outrageous claims with little or no proof on a variety of topics. However some of their experts are just that. Expert; and they have a lot of knowledge to pass on, expecially about grazing and specifically Management intensive grazing. If you read the lowline cattle nonsense and a large percentage of Gerald Fry's theories as entertainment, Nation, Gerrish, Salatin and company have a lot to teach.

We were always of the opinion that Drover's is the best farm/beef publication we get, period. I also like Hughes' column in Beef.

I always got Florida Cattlemen, but Gulf Coast Cattlemen seems to have a little less advertising and a few more articles.
