Hello everyone!
I am new to your forum and as much as I tried I couldn't find any info on the diets of cattle!
So I would like someone to guide me so that I can find what i need.I have a farm with young growing bulls of 8 up to 18 months old, charolais and simmental. I am thinking of changing the rations of the diet I am giving them now and I would like to ask what you recommend or where should i turn to! I am interested for a diet for bulls that are to be slaughtered after 6 months maybe!
Thanx in advance and looking forward to your comments!

If you have 18 month old bulls they should be ready for slaughter , we castrate our bulls that we feed out, after we wean them at 6-7 months they go on a 12% grain mix about 2-2.5% of their body wieght plus hay and they arre usually ready at about 14-15 months. That should work for bulls as well as steers, bulls should grow faster than steers.
