is it a big deal too have a dual squeeze vs single squeeze? whats the pros and cons? I only have a small herd does it matter that much?

Depends on how often and why you need to squeeze them. If you only have a small herd to vaccinate I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you were a vet clinic that squeezed daily I would want the dual side squeeze. If you were buying a new chute I would get the double, used chute, get whatever you can find. I don't use mine very often by the way.

If you could pick either I would take the double squeeze, but for a small herd a single is fine.

I like a double for working small calves so it isn't pushing them way over to the side, but that's me where I'm bringing in alot of 200 to 300lb calves and working them. For a normal operation of just cows where your not working calves that small a single is fine.
