Any one using this? Pretty neat idea. I might tag a few heifers or some thing to see how well it works.

I'm a big fan of a tally book and pen but it would be nice to access the whole cattle inventory on the phone and update it as you go.

I tried to look at it but apparently you have to have their tags to be able to use it.

Be cheaper than RFID.

AT only a dollar a tag, they are not as expensive, but the downside is that you have to physically scan the tag to input the data. I am not sure my herd will let me that close unless they are being worked.

I use a big chief tablet and one of those big flat carpenters pencils. Keep it on the dash of the feed truck. Not high tech but hasn’t failed me yet.

out of everything I've tried Cattle Max still has the best bang for the buck.
