First of all get your cut and paste right. I did not say all of that and I wish you would not put words in my mouth.
Second of all since you are so brillant and have all this research about breeds that grade better than Angus please share it with the class. Even though I am an Angus breeder, I did learn to read (That was for you Caustic).
If its the hereford part of the baldie that is fetching that premium then how come herford calves don't bring more than Angus calves? If its is that Herford bringing all that money to them baldies then how come there aren't more Hereford bulls sold than Angus bulls? You know what is bringing that premium.... It is the fact that the buyer knows the calf is crossbred (At least until those black herfords get off the ground

). Everytime I hear someone talk about tender beef vs marbling it is always out of the mouth of someone whose cattle don't grade.
Just for your information Guest our cattle do grade. Our last 5 steers for freezer beef customers Graded 40% Low Prime, 60% Mid Choice (thats 100%) 40 % YG2 and 60% YG3 (thats also 100%). The reason for this is simple --Genetics. Three Years ago we only did about 45-50% mid choice or better. You know what we did we bought a better Angus bull. Not a slab sided high IMF bull either. A bull that had a 14.8 in RE @ a year who was slightly positive for marbling. He bred 48 cows last year.
Muratic,
Man that was low calling me a democrap. What did I ever do to you? What career did Angus people make out of taking someone else words and making it their own??
