Can you cross a (original) Galloway Bull with Holstein Cow?

Hi All, this is for my hobby farm and I just bought a Galloway and a Holstein and I’d like to breed them. I just want to make sure that I’ll be able to do that without complications for the cow or calf.

I don’t see where this would be any problem. The Holstein shouldn’t have any problem with a Galloway calf.

Knew a guy who bred his Galloway bull to several Holstein heifers for their first calf. The calves are smaller than Angus sired calves based by their birthweight.
