Plans and goals are necessary, but you can spend too much time analyzing. I've always been a jump in and get started. Studying on things too long can eventually make the studying and planning a move can sometimes become the mission without ever really accomplishing anything other then studying and planning.

We call it paralysis by analysis.

My over planning has been more a factor of my start date being out there, and trying to fill the time.

I'm one of those types that can't leave good enough alone. I'm always trying something else or modifying something to see if I can get better, bigger or faster. Seems like I waste my time and money, but at least I stay busy.

I'm in the same boat. I figure I'm three years before I buy the first animal. There sure is a lot of good information on here, and a bunch of you have gone out of your way to answer what I'm sure are my same old questions.

What are you thinking of doing?

i've bought a farm. in the next two years, i'll be building a home there. i have two kids. i want to leg into the beef cattle business in a way that will be fun, and help teach my kids life lessons. one of those lessons should be how to make a dollar, as well as all the others that everybody thinks of.

like you, i'm still researching "camps" to see which ones might best fit my lifestyle, wallet, land, etc.

Aren't these young ladies required to have a boat? And I think they should provide a picture of said boat for your approval.

Being afflicted with OCD and ADD everything has to be perfect on my place.....at least for a minute or so.
