Calving weather

We have lost our sense of humor. This is not fun anymore. The corrals are so muddy under the snow that the quad is getting stuck. There is no way on earth we could bring in a calving heifer on foot, if she decides she doesn't want to cooperate.

Did someone say something about Global warming? Promises, promises.

Bward, I hope you ain't around Thorhild because they got some MAJOR damage around there.

This system is supposed to clear up by the end of this weekend, but I hear you on the mud and snow.

Two weekends ago it snowed all one day. In April. In Texas. Not the part of Texas where it snows, either. None of it stuck, owing to the fact that it had been about 77 degrees the day before. I was dumbfounded. I had to cover the garden and flower beds. I did so last weekend, too. I read about global warming and I see this.

It has been a hard winter everywhere, as I read this board.
Mud has dried up here in sunny S Indiana, but we lived with it all winter. We never had that much snow, just cold miserable rain.
