I have a bull calf that is almost 7 weeks old. Appears healthy, has plenty of energy. Yesterday (Sunday) when I was in the pasture with him, I saw him poop the oddest shade of yellow and it was nowhere near solid. Is this a sign of a major problem or is he ok? Forgot to mention, he was just steered on Saturday so maybe this is just a sign of stress?
Thanks for any feedback!

I would give him a scours bolus capsule. Yellow poop can be a first sign of a bacterial infection.

Yesterday, we gave him a scours bolus capsule. He seemed to have a lot of energy - we had to chase him down for a while before we could catch him so that is a good sign I think. I was also told to give him a small dose (1 mL) of Ultrabac 8. We are keeping an eye on him - don't want to lose him!
Thanks for the advice from all of you that have responded. The amount of knowledge on this board is incredible and us newbies appreciate it!
