Calf that enlarges when he eats.

I have a Charolais X Simmental Calf.
He is about 4 months old.
He is being well looked after.
I bought the calf when he was 6 weeks old.
There is a slight problem with him.
For the past number of days, he has seemed to enlarged every time he eats.
He is on a small bit of silage, milk from his mother, and water. I have separated him from the rest of the calves. He has got a collic twice!
Does anyone know what is wrong with him? Please help!

if he gets bigger on one side after eating he is bloating

called a chronic bloater. might try some probiotics. ask vet what you can do. i always just sold them.

Okay thanks. I was recommended some natural probiotic yourgert, so I have stacked up on that, and will be giving it to him for the next couple of day! Thanks for your help !
