Had a calf that was 7 weeks old. Calf never did seem as lively as she should.
Found her with her rectum out 6-8 inches and not responding to the cow. She was laying around and when I got her up she went down in the ditch. I figured she was just looking for a place to die. Sure enough she was dead the next morning. Anyone ever seen anything like this. I never had. As a side note her mother wants to prolapse out of both holes before she calves, but never throws everything out. Don't imagine it is connected to the calf problem. Thanks for any insight. hhh
