Calf Puller? i have 40 head, only pulled 3 in 40 years...i'm old now..best calf puller?

I got mine from Jeffers Vet supply, 35 or so years ago, I think it’s a Dr. Franks.
I’ve had to use it several times over the years, but generally average probably once a year, but remember anywhere from 0-4 times a year.
It’s not used much, but a good investment to have in hand when needed.

When I was still in veterinary practice, we had Willman calf pullers on our ambulatory service trucks.
https://hawkermfg.com/calfpuller/We had the shortest model, and the practice owner had the local machine shop fabricate an 18" 'extension' which we could pop into place between the puller and buttplate to accommodate those 1980s Chianina & Simmental calves.
I still prefer the Willman design & operation.
We currently have a calf-puller that a friend gave to us as they were getting out. It's most like the one linked below...serviceable, but not great...but we rarely needed it, and since I only service 3 nearby neighbors, I'm not buying another.

A good, 3/4 inch braided rope with a loop in one end for the chain to pass through pulls most of the calves here.

Willman offers 33 inch pull up to 57 inch pull?(with a few in between) what would you suggest?

25 years ago I used to strong arm them out until I had to pull 3 calves out of hfrs in the same day.
I got very familiar with our puller and learned how to utilize EPDS that year.

42 years veterinarian, seen calves pulled many ways,
the one that sticks in the first place as most ingeniously use of what was available, 1- 8 foot pasture gate, taken down from fence row, 3 ropes with slip loops maybe even dog leases, (or hay twine) with the heifer laying down on side, stand gate up right (maybe for description, the henge end of gate against hips of heifer) touching bottom of vulva, then attach ropes to legs of calf, then 3rd rope to opposite end of gate (maybe the chain end) and with a series of winching double backs with the 3rd rope, increasing the pull leverage, block-tackle style , deliver the calf
