I was tagging the new calf this morning and noticed a knot on her chin I inspected and the right side is broken about an inch back the teeth only on right side. Anyone ever seen this

ditto on what Bez said. Just make sure the calf is suckling, and it probably is, things will realign on their own.

Calf is young enough that I suspect benign neglect will be the best order of the day

Merry Christmas

i spent most of the day yesterday watching the cow/calf. she is mothering the snot out of her. and late yesterday I saw the calf trying to suckle and her tail was wagging. (watching from about 200 yards) so I left them alone and hope for the best. this morning cow was eating hay and calf was in the group laying down. It's a hard thing to just stand by and watch but with 3 suggestions(one from the VET) to let nature take its course I have done that.

Wagging tail is great!

Calf seems to be fine. Seen them walking together this morning and tonight I put out hay and they weren't with the rest of the group. I could see a cow running to the pens an calf by her side. The lip is still swollen. Calf looks good and healthy and a lot of spunk. She may have a face only a mother can love. But she's alive. Thanks again for advice.
