Hey everyone. I know so often just questions and problems are posted so I wanted to post and say thank you ALL and that we DON'T have a problem this weeked. I kept the calf in except for limited amounts all week because he was sick again last weekend. His ear is now back up and he is out running around. He has continued to eat well and cleaned up ALL of his baby grain yesterday. Thanks for the suggestion of getting texturized rather than pelleted grain...he LOVES it! Thanks for each and every one of your help.

Thanks for the update.

Any bottle calves I've ever had, I always used the textured/sweet-feed type of starter feed for that reason. I have found that they take to that quicker than the pelleted type. (other's experiences may be different).
