Jerseys can get darker coated in the winter and in the spring they lighten up. They come in a light fawn color like yours to shades of reddish brown with black mask and darker hair toward the shoulders to almost all black called Mulberry. I have one of each. My light fawn cow does not darken in the winter, just gets some darker marks on the face. They can also have a few splashes of white.

Look how that old masked cow gets darker in the winter.

She's cute. What do you do with her? Is she bred?
She should be bred I bought her and her calf at the sale for 900 dollars when the market was like the really high got her so cheap because nobody wanted a jersey the calf has already made my money back and a little extra and once she calves I am going to use her as a nurse cow

Not all Jerseys work out as nurse cows. Dairy cows sold at auction often are there because of udder problems or they didn't breed back.

Yes that is true but she was sold with another jersey and a few other cows they said the old owners didn’t have enough food for them so they sold all of the cows which is pretty common around here but she was malnourished when I got her as were the others and despite that she had a decent bag on her I probably could have put another calf on her if I wasn’t worried about her weight my plan is to use her as a nurse cow but if that doesn’t work out then I will probably find her a good home as there are also a lot of people who want a docile young cow then buy another one that way she isn’t eating all of our pasture

I do the same as you did... pick some up here and there, for cheaper rather than more expensive. Got one like her with a jersey bull calf for $900 also, last fall.... just happened on her... put a 2nd calf on her, although she did not have alot of milk and I supplemented the 2nd calf with one bottle a day for about 4-5 weeks.... they both would go in the bunk and eat with her, and she had mothered both real well. She is now bred to our angus bull, and once she calves, I will try to put calves on her and then try to breed her back AI to a jersey... These 2 calves will be weaned off shortly, and will more than pay me back for her cost and the expenses.
I look for bargains, and we buy and sell some cattle... my son and I have a cow/calf operation and also buy some feeders to match some of what we have and make groups that are backgrounded to sell. I also have had nurse cows off and on for 40 years... I like my dairy cows...
