These Longhorn Bulls are as "BEEFY" as some other breed's so-called 'beefy' examples! Your Beef Sire Selection Protocols are excellent Ryan! Breeding "The Best To The Best' works every time it is tried!

Thanks, I like him, too. But I can never decide how much. There isn't quite as much bull there as some of his peers, but I think he is put together right. Since we have so many bulls (like 8 spring/summer '09-borns) on feed, he'll probably get sent to town.

We are going to hang on to that little guy for sure. His mom is one of our top cows, and she adopted another calf (who's mom didnt produce enough milk) this year. So, he's a touch behind the others, but not far. Just looking at him I think he'll catch up to the others very quickly. I'll start halter breaking him here in a week or so, and as soon as he gets clipped up I will post another picture of him.

Nice Ryan - I also like the profile shot of the 3rd pic. Really deep & meaty looking, but the head-on shot makes him look quite narrow.
So, you're going to show the solid red - he shouldn't have trouble "catching" up to anything, but can you "catch" him??? :banana:

Its amazing how much cattle love a new pen. I opened these bulls to a pen right across from their normal one, and you would've thought they had hit the jackpot. They were all being lazy enjoying the sun, but as soon as they noticed gate they were all sorts of excited. They were running and buckin and hollering like crazy. It sure was fun to watch.
