I am buying a 18 month pure register Charolais bull for 2,500. Is this a good price? I know it depends on the bloodline but the bull’s rage between 2,200 to 3,000 and the one that I wanted was 3,000 and its taken.

That sounds like a reasonable price to me, providing he is a good quality bull, and has good performance. We pay in the range of 2500 - 3000 for our bulls, but that is Cdn dollars too.

Why don't you give the particulars of the bull and a pic if possible and hopefully MikeC will give you a reply. He has some good looking Char. cattle. I would trust his opinion.

I bought a yearling Charolais bull paid 3250. A very good all around bull with adg of 4.4 lbs per day.
