Bringing breeding stock north?

Help Support CattleToday:

Going from south to north is allowed, there were a few US cattleman that brought up cattle to Agribition the catch was the cattle had to stay in canada. Because the US wouldn't allow them back because they came into canada and then become considered canadian cattle. The US cattlemen made out like bandits and will be coming with more next year or at least that is what they were saying.
As far as the health requirements check with the CFIA. They will give you what you want as far as the health requirements and test that need to be done. Best of luck.

Does anyone know for sure if it is possible to bring breeding stock from the US to Canada? And if so what exactly has to be done?

Bizin just be carefull moving stock from shortgrass country north to parkland(tall grass) country. It takes time for them to adjust.
