bred or not?

I had a black angus cow that is 7 years old. She is supposed to be approximately 8-9 bred. Today, I saw a black and white cow that had a calf , about 6 weeks ago. The black and white cow mounted the black angus cow. Does this mean that my black angus cow is in heat, and not bred, Is it possible pregnant to get mounted by other cows? Appreciated any replies Gary

more likely the black and white cow is in heat. they come in heat about 21 days after calving and about 21 days later and so on until they settle. 21+21=42. 6x7=42. coincidence?

WEll , thanks TurnThatCowLooseMaw, the one to be bred is the black and white cow. Pretty obvious, when we went to the farm. We saw which one was attracting the bull. Gary
