Been feeding my daughter's cow that had twins a little extra till grass starts putting out . Well her 2 started eating with her and then one calf joined , then 2 and this morning there were 7! Not always the same ones . Waiting on me at the gate every morning

Those young calves pick up on things pretty quick with the daily routine. At least they will be easier to work with when the time comes since they will be used to coming to feed.

I may have to get a bigger trough and more feed !

This is how I get the calves at the nurse cow pasture to be much quieter and used to people... the calves on the nurse cow will come in the creep gate to get some grain in the other pen/stall.. soon a beef calf is following, then another... they learn that "hey, there's something good in there and no one is pushing us around".... amazing how "monkey see, monkey do" works...
