"Brawl" Board

I don't know if it's just me.. but is anyone getting tired of all the locked threads.. threatening attitudes, and general rudeness on these Boards lately?

I think we need a Brawl Board where these folks can go and fight it out with each other. People.. everyone has an opinion based on their experiences and knowledge. It doesn't make anyone right or wrong, or stupid or an idiot. I dont' understand all the name calling and threatening to "come over to your place" on these boards. If you don't like what someone has to say, don't respond! Ignoring them is the quickest way to let the issue die. Most everyone is an ADULT.. let's try and act like adults.

Sorry.. I'll get off the soapbox now.. :roll:

I thought things had gotten pretty civil lately with only an occasional problem. But I don;t read all the threads so don;t know if they're getting locked or not. I know that a while back there were more threads locked in one day then in probably the preceding 6 months. But that irritant is no longer amoung us.
If we had a brawl board it would need to be set up to automatilly lock a thread as soon as it was started.

Hopefully we won't have that anymore. I get on another forum that has a section called The Cardbaord Box where you can vent. You can say anything you want and people do. You can't respond to threads on The Cardboard Box, it is just a place to let your head explode and no one takes it personally. I don't know if that would work here.

Just a thought. :)
 
I thought we were all back on an even keal and the knuckle heads were gone, Cyber friendship resumed, do we really need a vent room, as this could lead to things starting to get nasty again. :(
