Brass Horn Knobs

This is my first post. I seen people looking for brass horn tips. I have some, also bells and assorted brass. Here are pics.

I have never seen horn knobs seen horn weights to turn the horns down.
They were popular in the 50 & 60's

I haven't seen cattle with horn knobs in years and years.

I've seen then on oxen at pulls. My father used to have them on the horns which were attached with cables through pulleys on the ceiling then with weights on the ends. I think they were used to make sure the horns were pointed up. Not sure. I was only young.
