Box Elder trees seem to grow up on the fence lines and cause havoc. Or, grow up anywhere the ground doesn't get dug up. These are hateful trees .... We usually clear cut and pull the stumps.... when there is a dozer handy. I'm just wondering if anybody knows of a way to be rid of these.... Thanks.

I know what you mean about trees and fencelines.
Up here it seems like the darn alder trees that choke the fencelines out.
Anyway, have you thought about trying Grazon?
I've heard some fairly glowing reports about it, and seen how effective it is because the hydro company has been spraying it on the trees growing under their powerlines up here for a couple of years.

Remedy + diesel . Spray the trunks.
