Bovine Leukemia

I had a blood test on my bull an it came back positive for leukemia. From what i understand there is two antibodies of this disease.
gp-51 antigen
p-24 antigen
My bull came came back positive for gp-51.
How many of you have lost cattle to Bovine Leukemia?
I found it while testing for anaplasmosis.

I have a cow that I had tested last month for johnnes and leukosis. They both came back negative, but the vet did say if it had been leukosis (which is a type leukemia) that all she would do is continue to lose weight and die.

Has he started losing weight yet? What did your vet recommend to do with him??

Vet says theres no cure.

Yes that is what my vet said also about the leukosis.

Said there's no cure, they lose weight and die.

It may be more common than people think because very few do blood tests. Thats what my vet says.
