Have 12 fall breds about to get started calving! 9 of those are due 9-18 ai’d to these bulls

Only have one heifer to calve this fall. This is her, she’s bred to the last bull pictured. McConnell Altitude.

Got the first fall calf on the ground today! She’s a McConnell Altitude out of a Carolina Leverage first calf heifer. 70 pounds at 268 days gestation.

Thought I’d throw in a pic of the heifers udder. This was about a week prior to calving. Looks about the same now, just fuller.

Nice. Where were you trucking the calf?

Heifer had him at the edge of the woods and the coyotes were going crazy while I was there. Just wanted to get her a little ways away from them. Plus in the back of the truck is where I did my tagging and weighing!

Second calf came today! 81 pound bull calf out of LWHF Intimidator. 272 days gestation. Dam is a daughter of Exar Denver. I know the pics aren’t great, but I’m sure I’ll get more!lol
