Hey board;
Not sure if this is within the limits of the rules here....but thought I'd post and find out. (The post on "The barter board" made me think I could maybe get away with it).
A few of you may recall I had a first calf heifer that lost her calf this past Sunday.....born in the cold, I didnt get to it in time.
I've been milking the heifer out twice a day in hopes a set of twins will come along out of one of her herdmates. No luck as of yet, and Im starting to lose hope.
If anybody within 500 miles or so of Eastern South Dakota has an orphaned calf, or a twin they would like to send to a good home,....I'd love to buy it. This first calf heifer was one of my best, I just hate to see her go a year without a calf.
Prefer a solid black, but beggers cant be choosers. I'd take anything healthy, and the sooner the better.
Thanks for any help.
