Notice there Brahman and Brahman influenced cattle still look like they should. Here in the US we try to take all the ear off and clean up the under side till our Brangus cattle and others don't have the Brahman look any more

That is one powerful Santa Gertrudis bull. Any information available on this bull?

Here's a slightly better photo of him. I may be incorrect with these details as there were nearly 200 Santa cattle on display. From my notes I think he's - Dunlop PILGRIM J 1030 (dob 8th Feb 2014) from the Dunlop Santas

For my money, the best Gerts I've ever seen in person, including being in Kingsville, were on a couple stations smack in the middle of Australia.

Were they Kidman properties in the Channel Country?

They are very popular in Australia. If you read theland.com.au they always talk about the Gert/Angus cross.

Visit Gene Trust Brangus.

Not a particularly good sample of Brahman cattle. They would probably be steers in Brazil. If you want good Bos indicus/Brahman cattle:

Great looking cattle! Thanks for sharing these pictures. My favorites would probably be the Droughtmasters, the Brangus cow, and the Santa Gertrudis bull.

They were indeed. Visited several of their stations in 2002 and again in 2009.

JWBrahman I checked out this facebook page and they got some nice Brahman cattle, fact of the matter is I think I look at it almost every day. I don't know what I like the best their Brahman cattle or the mules. Me being someone who likes to ride a good mule they sure got some nice ones over there, just wish I could understand what they are saying.

Well its like this 32 years ago today, August 31,my sweetheart and me said ''I DO'' and I have had a great life with a good family. So I guess I'll just keep looking at the good Brahman cattle an mules. :D :D :D

Bryant, that is my favorite cattle site on the internet.

Clodhopper, those are some fine farm ladies. Sometimes I think people may have a little Brahman envy because of those pretty ladies.

That thing is a tank for only being 2 yrs old.

GB I woke my wife up laughing at that one.

Few years back Quaker Oats put out a challenge and made commercials about it. First time I saw my fat alcoholic cousins in the commercial I laughed that hard. They don't ride horses, they drive mules when you get that big. Lol
