boney calves

got these 4 heffers ther all soposed to be the same age they are 16 mo. old & all some how related .came from the same place .. all were wormed oct 09 the one on the right inside is smaller by far & looks boney to me . should i take her to vet ?
i been feeding 1 lb of allstock a day per head for 10-11 mo. & plenty of pasture
am i overly concerened

Well, she certainly is skinnier than the others. Could be she is just a poorer doer, or that she is going through a growth spurt. It also could be that she needs another dose of dewormer.

mayb shes just skinny and bony like some people.1lb of all stock a day is'nt gonna do much to put on weight.all that is good 4 is to keep them coming up.

If you have not wormed since Oct 09 it way past time to worm again. All calves do not grow the same but worms also effect some worse than others.

I usually worm young stock at turn out to pasture, three weeks after turn out, and after freeze up.

yep young cattle are more susceptible to worms,,,be sure to give em some black leg to
