The boer goat nationals are in Grand Island, NE this week. My mom took 4 of her favorite does across country for the big get together. This was the percentage doe in class today, she is just a 2 year old. The three purebreds will show tomorrow.

My advice would be make sure you have a solid market as they are a lot of work and a real pain in the ... Here due to all the immigrants and different races goats are a staple of many of those ethnicities. Goats milk is another popular thing to do if you have the time and facilities. Shares of goats milk start with a 35.00 fee then 5 per quart of milk you buy per week and there various drop offs for folks.

I took my nubian doe to a neighbor last winter and paid 60 dollars for stud service.

she kidded on D Day and had a single buck....I named him Ike in honor of D Day....
