Bloody mucus

Have a heifer with this bloody mucus 'string' that comes when she urinates just found it, although found evidence of it happening before when I cleaned the pen today. What could it be? Does it have to do with her being open? Do I need to worry? or just watch? urgent replies needed, since I'm a worry wart.

If she was in heat a couple of days ago that would most likely be the cause. It's a relatively normla occurence 2-3 days after being in heat
