With all the back to back blizzards in CO, NM, OK, KS I'm wondering what the potential effect on hay availability and prices for 2007 cuttings? How do you think it will affect hay availability and prices in Texas?
A news item on MSNBC today (1.6.07) said hay was going for $150 to $250 a ton: That is, between $112.50 and $157.50 for a 1500# round bale. There was no mention of what type or what quality of hay they were talking about.
