Had a calf that had some type degenerating blindness disease that kept getting progressively worse. Night vision was the first to go and it ended up in the strangest places. Vet examined it and said there was nothing I could do short of pen raising it. Well, there is one thing the vet overlooked and that was bologna. Don't have to worry about this stick getting hit by a car on a state highway. ;-)

Can't say I"ve ever had true veal up till this year. A little different but good. In the past I would have just drug it off to the woods but I have cleaned deer smaller than this calf so I thought I'd give it a try. I can guarantee you I won't be dragging any more off unless they have a high temp though.

Here is some more of the stuff I made this weekend. Gonna be set for sandwiches for some time.
