I just figured out how to post pics, so here goes. This is our herd bull- 3 years old, Limi bull, dehorned (I hate it that he's not polled). Sorry about the assorted cow feet, etc., in the background. Kinda makes it hard to see...

We filled in a farm pond close to the house, and he really liked that loose dirt. Needless to say, he's going to have to stay that way. I give him his space.

It was close to sunset yesterday - next time I'll try the flash thingy and see if it's better.

Of the limi bulls we've had, I like him the least- not enough in the rear end for me - hard to really evaluate in the photo. I like his length, but that's about it.

now that a heck of a nice limi bull.i bet he throws so good calves.i see he is showing the angus head as well. scott

What did you name him? Don King?

The truth be known, we haven't named him yet. We have a heifer bull named Josey (after the Outlaw Josey Wales OF COURSE), we've had red limis (Jed, Jethro), and just haven't gotten around to naming this one. I will consider Don King. :D

he reminds me of Mr T. (B.A. Barackis) in the face/hair. was also thinking he looked a little light in the back but cant really tell from one pic. bet he has good calves though.

Mr. T. like "whatchu talkin bout Willis" Mr T? Hmmmm....

You're thinking of Arnold (gary coleman) from "diff'rent strokes"

Mr T says "I pitty the fool"!!!

LOL! i could not for the life of me remember his catchphrases last night. i too could only think of "Whatchu talkin about Willis?" and i knew that wasnt right. anybody see the resemblence though?

It's not an exactly flattering angle, true... and he is light in the rear. What can I say...my husband picked him. ;-) Usually he lets me choose the bulls. If I get over to see our heifers this weekend on some leased pasture, I'll be sure to post a pic. of a bull I picked :)

No problems with disposition...we've never had (or kept, for that matter) a bull that we didn't like to be around. When he's worked, we make it as quick and painless as possible, though.
