Looking at the almanac records is interesting to me. I had that feature on my phone for a while. When people were whining about global warming I'd always find it interesting to see a record high years ago for the same day. I think A/C has made us soft.

Father and me went to an auction 4 hours south of here one time in November. Left the house at 3am wearing a t-shirt. Cold front blew thru while we were at the sale, by the end of the day I was wearing a duster raincoat to block the wind. None of us was smart enough to bring a pair of coveralls. I've never been so cold in my life.
