In 1911 a record high temp was tied for the date, 80 degrees. In 1911 a record low temp was set for the date, 11 degrees.

That is one big swing in temperature for a day! Thats the kind of weather that will give you a cold. And to think it took us 97 years to discover global warming. Gee we must be slow.

I'd bet there were some nasty storms somewhere in between those temperatures.

I was at a farm sale one day when the temp dropped 30 degrees in an hour, that was miserable. I con only imagine what a 70 degree drop would be like

 I misunderstood the post. Looking at the almanac records is interesting to me. I had that feature on my phone for a while. When people were whining about global warming I'd always find it interesting to see a record high years ago for the same day. I think A/C has made us soft.

Father and me went to an auction 4 hours south of here one time in November. Left the house at 3am wearing a t-shirt. Cold front blew thru while we were at the sale, by the end of the day I was wearing a duster raincoat to block the wind. None of us was smart enough to bring a pair of coveralls. I've never been so cold in my life.

Now that's a pic I could live without seeing, the mental one is bad enough.

You know you wanna look!

There is a pic floating around somewhere, I wouldn't be opposed to it being posted as long as mine and the wife's face is covered!

dun, excellent job.

And to all the ladies: I do parties, please make reservations early!

Love the coconut bra, there. Is that a sweater you are wearing under it? :lol2:

The gals down at the Tikki room want to know what size those cups are.

12oz.

We live in a sexist nation. Near every woman at the bar we went to came up and felt my "coconuts". If I would have tried that it wouldn't have been so kosher...

Dang pinz, when you asked if I could book you at my B&B I thought you would sing or something. I never imagined this kind of act. Maybe I will see if I can find a gig for you in Key West. :lol2:
