What's the whole deal with this? I mean, if the livestock industry is gonna be affected, especially cattle producers, oil and gas would as well (not that I'm worried about THEM).
And with the whole worldly population expanding and all, and the requirements of more food for a greater population, both grain/vegetative and animal, plus cities expanding competing for land that WOULD be valuable for crop production, or should we say FARM production, how the heck are they gonna pull that off? Create huge commercial farms that take up "room" for smaller farmers and livestock producers? Or make one huge big greenhouse that's gonna be growing grain all year round, or grain that'll be sowed then harvested every couple weeks?
And why didn't they think of this years ago???
Oh and one other thought...if they ARE gonna be successful with the ethanol and biodeisel made from canola, corn, barley, wheat, soybean, etc., would the prices for that sort of fuel be higher in the winter than summer, especially up here north of the 49th parallel?
Jeez, there's so much give-and-take in this world that future plans that people have for a better environment end up as an argument between those that are successful in making money now and those that want to make things better, with a price of course.
I tell ya, it's one benice of a confusing, complicated world out there....thanks for letting me rant a bit, btw.
