Was checking on everthing like I normally do and I have two heifers at the house that are supposed to be open. Held over. anyway I have been giving them alittle grain every day plus hay ect. and they are what I would call to fat.
Seen one is springing and will calve. She was with the bull for maybe 2 hours while I was sorting and hualing. Guess that was all it took. I hope I dont have a 150 lb calf. The bull is supposed to be an easy calver but she has a big B.W.

She calved yesterday sometime. I went to work and checked on her at 7:30 all ok and eating hay. Got home at 5:30 she is leting calf nurse and had it dried off and looked ok. He is big calf ( Crossbred bull) but looks to be ok so far. I had a late night calving so I am off to check on them again.

I didnt intend to get up late but I did. Hope they are ok this morning. Got to go
