I have a 27 day old calf I bought from a guy , he now has swollen front knee I took him to vet they say he looks good temp is good gums are good but milk he had him on wasn't sticking so vet put him on store milk half an half a pediolite mixture. She said he may be joint ill so she gave him a bo se shot an a shot of exceed an I have to give him another bo se an exceed shot Friday poop is good he's more alert but now having hard time getting up without help an is limping a lot now . But still has good app an good poop an doesn't seem like he's sick???

Sounds like joint ill to me too. A real tough thing to treat successfully. As to the milk, get a quality milk and milk byproducts milk replacer 20% fat and 20% protein at the minimum. NO SOY in it at all.
