I bought 6 beefmasters that are all bred to an angus bull.they will b calving in about 45 days.i have 2 options for breeding them back,saler or piedmontese.what do u think would b best and y? please do not suggest A.I. i am not going to go through the trouble to A.I 6 commercial cows.
 
Piedmontese. It makes the offspring far more valuable; high milk, high muscle. and beefmaster traits will also pass on as piedmontese carry many of the beefmasters strengths. Only advantage with salers instead would be birth ease if they were heifers, but second calf or later they will calve good anyway. Just my not so humble opinion.
 
If possible, could you upload pictures of your bulls on here? Most curious. I am still struggling to post my own, so no rush.
