These steers were a year old in May,
On around 20lbs of shelled corn apiece.
Having to mix a small amount of a 4 way mix with the corn to get them to eat it.
Had them on good pasture and daily supplemental feed until August, then brought over to a lot and barn shed for finishing.
Believe it or not they are out of the same bull. 75%Angus/25%Hereford bull, one by a straight Hereford cow, and one by a commercial black cow.

around 20 pounds or a little more a piece per day now. Prior to that they were on about 10 acres with a couple heifers, I had been giving them feed pretty much everyday, and had gotten them up to the twenty or so pounds close to a bucket between the four, which the bigger steers got the most of no doubt.
