I know a lot of people on here myself included ask a lot of questions on feed. I have seen some questions on silage and watching the DM on what supplement you buy so you know what protein form is actually the cheapest. Here is a sight i found that has a feed cost calculator that will figure out the cost of energy and protein if you know on farm cost and a few things about makeup. As well as things like making a roller drum feeder and different type of feed stuff for the cattle.
