Beautiful Day

It was a very nice day in southern La., temps in the low 80's. This is a pic of the lot where my office trailer sits. Wish my pastures at home were this green and lush.

it's been really nice and warm here too. been in the low 60's. t-shirt weather, finally. even the breezes have been fairly warm. wish our pastures looked like that too. ours are still brown. dang it. nice pic.

This is truly a great time to be in Louisiana. Spring is in full swing, most everything is greening up, and the temps will get to the mid 70's to 80's, and drop back to the 50's or 60's at night.

Just wait 2 months. Sauna city

Hi temp of 20f yesterday and 6 new inches of snow this morning on top of what we already had............

It was T-shirt weather here too last night when I chored. And I also had on a button down dress shirt and duck-cloth coat.

I had to stop and put on the mosquito spray last evening. I hate those things but it's a good sign Springs coming.

Went out last night and picked the first crop of Daffadils (sp) to give to my wife. We reached 60 f yesterday, warmest day of the winter so far.

Yea I know I saw one of the first signs of spring and went over and killed it.

Summer will be here way too soon in Texas, I fear. Wichita Falls had a high yesterday of 98 degrees, Dallas was 93, lots of low to mid 90's in other parts. Those temps on March 1 sure have to give folks additional concerns, with moisture being so lacking in most areas of the state. Pray for rain & mild temperatures!

It was 97 here yesterday when I left to go home. I was amazing. I love the heat. Plus, with that 2.5" of rain we had over the weekend there is starting to be a green tint to everything here. I am hoping and praying for a wet spring and summer.

It could fit into Texas about 10 times, but the weather differances from one end to the other sounds like your large country.

Hit 72 yesterday and almost that today. Wont last. 32 tonite, 27 tomorrow night.Tomorrow's high 48. We got spoiled the last 2 days. It'll be Spring soon.
