If you click on page 1A, then the story continues to 2A.

The 2nd bear den in the story is about 4 miles as a crow flies from our farm. I swear if I came upon a live bear I would die standing on the spot! I'm thinking some alphabet doc would call it a phobia  Also the fear of one of my kids coming upon one, I do not even want to imagine!

Never heard of that before. With my luck I woulda "dropped" in on him with the 4wheeler. That would bite.

I have always heard that a black bear is very afraid of humans. However, I'll just have to take everyone's word on this one. No desire at all to find out in person if a 300 pound bear with teeth is scared of me or not. Boone

I always heard that too, but i've been followed by a few black bears while I was hunting before, guess they wasn't too scared...they never bothered me, I guess they were just waiting for me to kill something and gut it so they could have a nice little snack of deer guts...i'm glad they didn't come very close to me though

They didn't show the picture of the bear trying to get out from under the combine tire that was over it. The combine was stuck.
